Requirements
  • 3-5 years successful work experience in online retail, online advertisement, or  financial services
  • Experienced Sales professionals from other industries are encouraged to apply.  Direct Agents, Inc. offers a full training program to help you get situated in this industry.
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Ability to work on a team effectively
  • Pro-active, results and goal oriented approach
Job Description – Advertising Sales Executive
  • Negotiate, develop, and manage online advertising campaigns with mid to large size companies
  • Prospect, contact new online advertisers, develop relationships, negotiate, and generate online advertising sales revenue
  • Manage existing accounts for up sell and renewal
  • Support  pre and post sale diligence; including but not limited to: assembling presentations, research, and general contact management
  • The position places a strong emphasis on building relationships and growing accounts through marketing and sales skills
  • Candidates will be responsible for some travel with client meetings as well as representing Direct Agents at industry conferences.

The growth path for this position involves growing large scale advertiser accounts, business development, and possible management opportunities.

Advertising Sales Management – Media Sales Executives that show exceptional skill and work ethic will be responsible for managing large accounts with mid to large size companies. Those that continue to succeed will eventually be asked to build and manage their own sales team.

Compensation

Base salary is determined by experience with generous commission structure. Benefits include employer paid health insurance, 401K plan, paid vacation and sick time and Transit Chek.
